The story of HERPRET COUTURE begins long before the brand itself with a grandmother whose artistry inspired a young Harpreet Kaur’s childhood. In a time when fashion degrees were nearly unheard of, her grandmother pursued design with fearless determination, sketching silhouettes by hand, drafting patterns with precision, and stitching garments that carried both soul and tradition.

Harpreet watched, mesmerized, as her grandmother transformed simple cloth into extraordinary creations. Those early memories sowed the seeds of Harpreet’s own passion for bridal couture. Though she initially pursued a business degree, Harpreet could not ignore her calling. She left the corporate path to follow her dream, earning a Master’s in Indian Bridal Wear from Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi. Her education refined her talent, while her grandmother’s legacy remained the guiding force behind her designs.
In 2016, she launched HERPRET, beginning humbly in a small London apartment with a handful of bridal lehengas she designed herself.
Later, she moved to the United States to introduce her couture to the international market, confident that her talent would take her to the highest levels of bridal fashion.

Today, HERPRET COUTURE is more than a label it is a celebration of lineage, artistry, and dreams realized. Every creation honors the grandmother who inspired her, and every stitch tells a story of passion, heritage, and timeless elegance.
